  11.  I have tried installing AmiTCP 3 times in the past few years but to no 
  12. avail. I'm not a TCP guru, but I just want to port a simple Mud to run on 
  13. a TCP Amiga system.

  15.  I did get Merc2.2 to compile about a year or two back, but I could not 
  16. get AmiTCP runing to test it... Anyway, I want to go for it again. I'm 
  17. going to start porting the mutli-user version of Merc2.2 to the amiga, 
  18. again, but I dont want to {richard} around with setting up AmiTCP to run 
  19. on a Multiuser/Slip/PPP system. I just want to run a Mud on local host 
  20. and pherhaps have someone else try running it on an Amiga running off the 
  21. net with telnet set up.

  23.  Anyway, too my question.... Could someone set me up with the IP crap on 
  24. the install for AmiTCP to just test/run a tcp proggie on localhost only?

  26.  If I remember corectly, I couldn'y even get AmiTCP to run....I just want 
  27. it running so I can telnet to localhost.. So if someone can give me a 
  28. walk thru on setting up AmiTCP for a test run for a mud...

  30.  PS I am TCP illerate, what the hell is netmask??.... Bah I dont want to 
  31. know :)... Anyway I'll give it another go this weekend as my wife is 
  32. away, other than that it may be a few months/years. :)
